Failed to connect to api.redux.io port 443

Good day everyone,

I am new here.

I am setting up a site using the apus themes superio job template.

This theme uses redux, if i login my dashboard>tools>redux framework>health check. I see an error “wp_remote_post() failed. Many advanced features may not function. Contact your hosting provider. Error: cURL error 7: Failed to connect to api.redux.io port 443 after 2055 ms: Connection refused”.

My hosting is with hostgator and i did contact them. They said that port 443 is open and it should work. But i still see the error.

I think this error may be causing some of my pages to go to 404 when visiting the url. Within the page there is a specific section, when inserted, the pages goes to 404 but if i remove it the page works as normal.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
