Failed to connect to FTP Server

    Hello,
    I Have a server with Debian 7, Apache 5.4 and mysql.
    On this server I installed mysql-server .
    I want to install a Theme when I select install I get taken to Connection information page to enter FTP or SSH credentials

    Hostname ——– hostname
    FTP/SSH Username ——– server user login details
    FTP/SSH Password ——– server user Password details
    Connection Type ——– FTP

    Proceed

    Failed to connect to FTP Server
    To perform the requested action, WordPress needs to access your web server. Please enter your FTP or SSH credentials to proceed. If you do not remember your credentials, you should contact your web host.
