    Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help.

I have a feed, which have been working properly for a few months now, they update daily. Over the last day merchant centre has been giving me the message that Connection Failed.

It further states ‘Failed to connect to the remote server. Please make sure the source URL in your feed configuration is a valid one.’

The feed has been working properly before we installed cloudflare, even though we set up the firewall in cloudflare to let the Google bots access the URL generated by Product Feed Pro, we still get connection failed issue.

Can anyone help on how I can resolve this ?

    Many Thanks

Path URL we allowed on cloudflare firewall

    /wp-content/uploads/woo-product-feed-pro/xml/5QhMjKuhG7Ezaq77MS8nC0TBROTjQuGH.xml

    Hi,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. There have been more users experiencing the same issue, see:

There is indeed a setting within Cloudflare that prevents this from happening. I think it is best you reach out to their support for this.

    Hi,

In order to let everybody know how I fixed the issue, I will state exactly what we did on Cloudflare.

We went to Firewall > Tools > IP Access Rules

Add ASN value of Google and create Allow action

It works now. Google is able to fetch the feed from our website. Please let us know if this would be a vulnerability for the website, or else if you have another idea on how to fix this issue.

    Thank you

Assuming the issue at hand is sorted and/or our support is no longer required I will close this topic for housekeeping reasons now.

Don’t hesitate to reach out to us again whenever you need our help.
