    Works like a charme! You have to make sure, that the media is still present in the same location as in the uploads folder the content export is made from.

    Unfortunately it doesn’t work.
    It just uses the link from the original URL instead of downloading the images from the source and uploading them to the destination posts.
    NB: I had tagged the tickbox to make that happen, but it didn’t.

    Try editing your export file with a text editor and check the paths to your media files. Correct, if neccessary. Save as UTF-8 text file and try again.
    It recently did not work for me when importing posts and tick the checkbox “import images”. That’s why I create separate export files for all content types and start with importing media files. This works well in my case.

    Hi Christian,

    I have exported just some of the posts, that I want to import with it’s media.
    Therefore I cannot export just media, because then I have to figure out which ones belongs to these posts.
    Maybe you can have a look at this export file if you see something weird / if it is usable for you.
