  • Same issue for our page. Yesterday everything worked pretty will for us even in the embedded window. Today we‘re facing this problem.

    Same here ?? After weeks of testing we had our first live event this morning and had 90% or more users get failure joining via the embed.

    Luckily the direct link from Zoom worked so our event didn’t crash and burn!

    Hi Guys
    I just tested out the join via browser option – and i’m able to join properly.
    Is this something that always happens on your end ? Or is it only sometimes ?
    If it’s sometimes – we may need to consider Zoom servers are unable to handle join requests sometimes.

    basically, it’s happening every time when we start a meeting just 13 people enter and the other has the issues timeout. I think the problem was the limit with the request of joining via the browser.

    we have a business account, 300 person.

    It looks like this is a Zoom Web SDK issue – we’ve opened up a ticket

    I have the same issue here but even the first person to try is not successful.

    This is the short code that I enter (the page is private and only accessible to members, that’s why I don’t give you the direct link, it would be useless) :

    But even with the webinar already started in Zoom, we have the message error :

    Joining meeting timeout.
    Fail to join the meeting.

    Is it a problem in my short code ? Or is it the same problem as everyone here ? Let me say again that literally nobody can join my meeting.

    Unfortunately there hasn’t been any update on this – we’re in contact with the Zoom Dev – but i’m afraid there isn’t a concrete reason for why this is happening at the moment.

    Please consider using join via app for now.

    Thank you so much for answering !
    Indeed, I have also sent an email to Zoom Dev few days ago. My client is using the join app which is working properly.
    But to be honest the purpose to add Zoom WP plugin either the free version or the Pro is that our users can see the meeting from our website.
    I hope that we you soon solved that problem in order to take the Pro version

    We are looking into it – there is no indication that we can do something to resolve this at this time but if there is something we will update it.
