I can’t reproduce your error. It works fine on my tests.
Try to check if the file in question is actually present in the folder. It’s possible you have a corrupted copy, try to reinstall the theme.

    Hi,

Thanks for replying, surprisingly there are 2 other websites where I use the same theme, and I don’t have any issues there. Also which searching on internet I came accross this thread, maybe you can have a look, though I am still seeing the message on 1 of my website.

Hi. I don’t know code and never touch my CSS editor. I hired someone to set up my blog long ago. I was told as long as I never touched CSS editor when it’s time to update theme, just update and it will be fine. It has been for over a year until the last frontier theme and WP update a few days ago. Now when I go to write a post in editor a pop up message comes telling me ‘failed to load content CSS’ Can someone please tell me what to do? Much appreciated.

According to the link by the poster above you, the notice “failed to load content CSS” has more to do with the WordPress 4.8 update than a specific theme.

You can try disabling the add_editor_style() functionality and see if the notice goes away. Frontier Options -> Misc -> Disable Editor Style

There’s also the possibility that you have a plugin installed that is using that functionality incorrectly.

Thanks Ron! That worked! Because I don’t nornally go into those setting and touch anything I just want to know if that will undo anything else regarding my post settings? When I went back into my drafting editor the message was gone but I noticed the font grew much larger?
