    I have exactly the same problem. I had to roll back the plug to version 1.5

    Same thing here — then I made a minor edit to one of the buttons, and saved it. Seems like that reset the .js file somehow, because now it’s loading again.

    I confirm. I updated the plugin to version 1.6, entered my buttons and updated one of them. The error is gone.

    Yes, I have this error message in backend, too:

    Failed to load …

    ../wp-content/plugins/visual-editor-custom-buttons/js/button-5-1.js
