  • Hello @kweechek,

Good day and thanks for using our plugin.

I noticed that the website that you shared is not installed with our plugin.
Can you please confirm whether our plugin is installed within your website right now or not?

Is a multisite WordPress. I have installed and activated the plugin.

    Hello @kweechek

I just checked the source code of the website that you provided again and cannot see any indication of using our plugin Super Progressive Web Apps within the website. Can you please confirm whether our plugin is currently activated or not.

    Is activated.

Can be that permission for www-data/nginx/$user your account is created on, has no permissions to write, if you’re using php-fpm then mostly its set to use your personal user and group, same goes with suexec, if you’re using only mod_php then it might be www-data/apache, if fastcgi stream then it might be nginx/www-data, not shared server nginx php-fpm setup in pool.d/www.conf user:group is set to be www-data. As well you need to go to settings and save them. Or change something save, then change back and save.

    Hello @kweechek

It seems that the service worker and manifest were not generated. Doesn’t the “Status” section in SuperPWA > Settings show these errors?

If that is the case (and it seems to be), its because SuperPWA doesn’t have the write permissions to generate these files. SuperPWA uses WordPress filesystem functions to write.

Please contact your host about this. @juslintek ‘s answer before mine has all the clues needed. But your host will know best!

    Hello @kweechek

I just checked the website again and noticed that manifest and service workers are still not generated.

Wasn’t your web host able to help you out here with the file permissions?

Closing this for lack of activity. Please feel free to re-open if you want to continue the discussion.

    Best regards.
