When i try to log in with the url, the below statement appear.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘*’ in /home/patbacom/public_html/wp/wp-content/themes/twentytwelve/functions.php on line 22

Before this i try to upload swf file by changing some coding in the theme function. After i update the changes, the error occured.

  • Using FTP or Cpanel – go to your site files on the server and delete the twentytwelve theme from the theme’s folder –

    wp-content
        themes
twentytwelve - RENAME OR DELETE THIS FOLDER

WP will then automatically use twentythirteen theme and let you login again.

Then when you can login again, reinstall that theme.

Thank you WPyogi. I tried the above instruction, but still the same thing occured.

How did you access the files on the server?

i accesed it by using cpanel

I still see that error on your site, so that theme did not get deleted. You might want to ask your hosting company about that.

Or you could try replacing that functions file – first download a new copy of twentytwelve to your local computer from here:

    https://www.ads-software.com/themes/twentytwelve

Then find the functions.php file and replace the one you messed up on the server with the new one.
