Failed to open stream: Too many open files.

    I have been experiencing regular downtime of a few minutes just about everyday recently. I have been working with my hosting provider and the message below from the PHP error logs appear to be the one constant after multiple days of troubleshooting.

    [07-Dec-2020 14:15:23 UTC] PHP Warning: include(/home/…/public_html/wp-content/plugins/interactive-geo-maps/vendor/hassankhan/config/src/Config.php): failed to open stream: Too many open files in /home/…/public_html/wp-content/plugins/interactive-geo-maps/vendor/composer/ClassLoader.php on line 444

    Is there anything in the above? Or something more I can provide?

    I’ve also answered your email message and we can follow up from there, but leaving some information here on the thread also.

    It’s the first time I see someone coming across this issue, with the error coming from the plugin files. When I search online for possible reasons, one of the solutions is to increase a specific server limitation:
