Failed to Save

    Hello. I just spent an hour creating a story and now when I try to click on Publish or Update, it’s telling me “Failed to Save the Story.” So I guess I can’t even save my progress. I also can’t see a preview. I’ll either get a 404 page or it will tell me “Sorry, you are not allowed to preview drafts” even though I chose Public. FYI, I created a story yesterday with absolutely no problems, so I don’t know why it’s giving me trouble now.

    Update: It apparently did save something, but only after the first 10 minutes I was working on it (so only 2 slides and not the complete 6), and I changed almost the entire layout, so it’s useless. I don’t recall clicking “Save” that early in the project, so don’t know how even this much was saved.

    @vianaerich Thank you for reporting your topic and sharing an update. We’re sorry to hear of your troubles. If a story is in draft mode and unpublished, then it autosaves on a given time interval.

    If your story fails to save again, could you check for any browser console errors in the browser dev tools and send us a screenshot? This will help us troubleshoot the possible cause.
