Hello, I’m trying to sign up a new account for a client, but when I try to sign up with his email info@… the procedure fails and returns the error message “Could not sign-up: email is not available.”
    What does this mean?

    Thanks!

I’m having what I think is a similar problem:

Mailpoet is not sending an email to [email protected] so that I can authorize this email address as my FROM address. How can this be fixed so that I get an email and then I can authorize this email address?

    I’ve checked the SPAM folder,
and also checked the Default email under cPanel – Still no email from MailPoet

Everybody else can send to this email address, including MailerLite, and half a dozen board game manufacturers.

Plus – MailPoet is being unresponsive

    Hi there @adiemme,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Can you please share a screenshot of this error so we could see the page where it’s happening?

    Cheers!

    Hi Elvira,
    thank you for your message.
I managed to sign up my client with a different email and after that I authorized the email that was marked as “unavailable”, so now everything should be fine.

Anyway, you can see a screenshot of the error here:

    Hi @adiemme,

This could happen if you already have an account associated with that email address.

I’m glad you were able to sign up using a different one now. ??

    Hi @davidcollins,

I’ve checked our logs and the confirmation email sent to your email address has bounced.

    Here’s the bounce response:

smtp;554 5.7.1 Service unavailable; Client host [176.9.183.157] blocked using urbl.hostedemail.com; Your IP has been manually blacklisted,spam-related,176.9.183.157

Please whitelist our IP and try to delete and re-add the email address to be authorized on your account.

Finally, something meaningful that helps. Thank you, very much.

Now I have something concrete I can take to my webhost.

Thank you. My website/email host would like to know the email address that MailPoet is trying to send the authorization email from so that they can whitelist that email address. Can you share that with me please?

    Much thanks!
