    Is anyone else getting this error?

    Failed To Verify Referrer

    I just upgraded to WP v4.3.1 yesterday and just doing some checks and noticed now that in Chrome I’m getting this error when clicking on the post ratings. I’ve never seen this before. I checked in Firefox and it worked okay, so kind of confused on what is going on.

    Hmm, are you using any caching plugin? That happens when your token expires and it normally happens when you are using a caching plugin.

    Hey Lester, yes I use the W3TC caching plugin. That probably is the issue. When I go to Incognito Chrome it works fine there too (along with Firefox). I know you had mentioned before about caching and this plugin lol but the caching really helps with the page speed.

    Hi david, unfortunately this plugin will not work with any HTML caching plugin. The reason being if the HTML is being cache, that means the security token will be cached in the HTML as well. So when user submit the poll, the security token is outdated and hence the error.

    I am using cloudflare caching for my wordpress site, I have the option for disallow caching for certain url. Can you tell me what should be the url for this.

    is it /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

    Is their no way to fix it? Any exclude in W3TC-Plugin? It must be possible.

    Nope, as long as the plugin caches HTML (static pages) of your site, this plugin will not work.

    What setting should i disable in W3TC.
    Is it no possibility to exclude the code of wppostratings?

    I use wp-fastest cache plugin and I have the same issue: “Failed To Verify Referrer”. Any ideas how to fix it?
