  • It worked for me. Have you contacted your host provided and ask them to do it for you? Remember this plugin cant increase a limit that is set by your hosting provider. It can only increase the limitation of WordPress limit to upload over certain MB.

let me know if this helped, visit https://www.mundymediagroup.com ask for Marcus in the chat and I’ll work you through it no charge. I want to help you out because this issue has caused me so many issues and finally I understand and it works great. I love this plugin.

    Thanks,

Hi Marcus, I appreciate your response. When the plugin failed to increase the limit, I simultaneously 1) asked the host provider (GreenGeeks – excellent) in chat what their upload limit was (64MB by default) and 2) started reading the four ways they had to increase the size limit manually.

He immediately asked if I wanted him to increase the existing default 8MB, and he had it increased within seconds of me saying yes. Blindingly fast service. Faster than I could decide which of the various methods to use.

For the plugin, I confirm that the WordPress limit was 8MB below the “upload new media” panel, that the host provider default limit was 64MB, and that the plugin did not change the value shown in the upload media panel. The plugin provided no “Successful! Your new size is xxx MB!” success message that I could see.

I’m sorry, I can’t remember if I retried uploading the 9MB file after running the plugin. The plugin sure sounded like a good idea to me (as a semi-newbie). I would have rather used it than editing PHP files myself.

    Best regards, Kevin
