Failing to Import Demo-Content Attachments

To begin with, I wasn’t sure whether this belonged in the “How To” section of the forum, because I am asking how to do something. But I am asking how to do something on a local host, so I placed it here.

I’m using a child of the SLEEK theme. It’s a premium theme and provided in that theme’s materials is a sleek-demo-content xml file. I wanted to import that content onto my site (on local host) I went to Import–>Wordpress and I checked the box that said “download and import file attachments.” I imported the xml file, but the media files aren’t showing up properly. If I go to Media, I see all of them, hundreds of them, but they are all just grayed out and they appear grayed out on the front end of the site.

I really want those images to display normally so I can get a good feel for the demo content. If anyone could help me out and let me know what I might be doing wrong I’d very much appreciate it.
