    Hi,

I’m having this error while trying to create WebToLead. I had made some test and its really coming from this wordpress server, as i’ve validated the same form, to the same salesforce, from another wordpress site, and its working.
I tried to activate the log but not able to see it. I saw the link about activating wordpress debug log but i’m not enough familiar with it.

I also saw that 99% of the time its about the host, how can i validate this, and what do i have to ask to the host ?

    Thanks for your help.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

“as i’ve validated the same form, to the same salesforce, from another wordpress site, and its working.”

Then it’s a plugin or theme conflict… or the hosting (if the plugins/themes are the same, it’s definitely the hosting) as you’ve verified it works in a different environment.

Failing to connect to Salesforce is almost always a poor quality host with out of date libraries. My advice: find a new host.

It’s pretty inexcusable to have curl libraries that don’t support modern TLS in 2018 (IMHO).

Thanks for the reply, how can i be sure about any conflict as the 2 wordpress server are not exactly the same in terms of plugin/theme ? Any log somewhere?

    Thanks again.

If you enable to WP DEBUG log, there will be evidence in there of the issue in /wp-content/debug.log.

Salesforce returns an HTML page with instructions about the TLS requirements, that should be output to the log on a failed call.

If you want assistance troubleshooting this, premium support is available:

I plan to add a check to the plugin to better report that, in a future version.
