    There is a failure message inside my backend. No updates or changes of the core where made at this time…

    We have fixed the problem. All the changes will be included in the next stable release.

    Please, reinstall the plugin. ( Download link: https://github.com/CleanTalk/wordpress-antispam/releases/download/dev-version/cleantalk-spam-protect.zip )

    Here is a guide for you:

    Go to WordPress Administrator Panel —> Plugins.
    Find the plugin “Anti-Spam by CleanTalk” —> Deactivate.
    After the automatic page refreshing find the plugin again “Anti-Spam by CleanTalk” —> Delete. Confirm “Yes, delete these files”.
    Download the plugin archive from the link above.
    Go to Plugins —> Add New —> Upload Plugin.
    Choose the downloaded archive and press “Install Now”.

    the failure, displayed within the settings-section dissapeared without any actions…

    I will keep an eye on it and reinstall in necessary. Thanks,

    According to debug data, there should be no error right now. Can you check?

    If so, please, update the plugin to the last release version 5.164: https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/cleantalk-spam-protect.5.164.zip

    Then press the “synchronize with cloud” button.
