My UpdraftPlus backup quit working at some point. I had no valid backups on my cloud storage. But this wasn’t evident from the email notices which each had the subject line, “Backed up: {website name} (UpdraftPlus {version}) {timestamp}” instead of the more sensible “Emergency! Backup failed!”

This isn’t hard to fix, but it’s so blindingly obvious that this is wrong, that I find it impossible to forgive. It’s fortunate I noticed the problem before I actually needed the backup.

    Hi @tylertork,

Please can you open a support thread – https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/updraftplus/ – to describe your issue? The email report does – or should – indicate that errors occurred. Have you quoted the whole email subject line there or just the beginning? In any case, please do open a support thread so that it can be looked into.

I will not open a support thread. I’m just switching to a different plugin. The email report in this case does show there was a problem. It’s simply that the SUBJECT LINE of the email doesn’t show there was a problem.
