  • Hello cmorales001,

Thank you for contacting Woo support.

I understand you are facing a problem where images are not synchronized with Facebook.
To better understand the problem, I need some more information.

Were you able to sync a catalog of 4000+ products before and images were showing fine at Facebook?
Or is this something you are trying for the first time?

This problem could be due to a high number of products.
I suggest you try syncing 20 or 50 products and see how that works.
This will clarify if the issue lies in the number of products or not.

Lastly, are you seeing any errors or warnings in the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin or at Facebook account? Any additional information will be helpful in troubleshooting.

Based on the result of your test, I will guide you further to solve the problem.
Looking forward to your response. ??

    Best regards.

Hi, Any luck on solving this problem? I have the same problem…

    Hello michaeldbr,

Thank you for your message here.

I understand you are facing a similar problem on your site.
We are still waiting for a reply to find out whether the problem was solved or not.

I suggest you create a new topic and describe your problem there.
Similar issues can occur due to different reasons and we will be happy to investigate the problem on your site separately.

    Have a great day!

Good morning, I am sorry for not being able to report this issue earlier.
    I will answer the questions:

    1. The synchronization of the information in front of the products with respect to the images, could never be reflected. From the beginning it was not possible to link the images so that they could be displayed on Facebook.
    2. On several occasions we have tried, none of them worked.

Now, at the suggestion of synchronization of products, we have made a test and the problem persists.

The only warning from facebook is the following:
    https://www.facebook.com/business/help/5203151363141674

If you could give us any alternative to find the solution, we would be grateful.

    Greetings.

    Hi @cmorales001,

Thank you for getting back to us. This process should work by default, and the images should be synced and displayed. However, external factors, such as a third-party plugin or firewall, can interfere. Have you had a chance to run a conflict test yet?

To do that, please try disabling every other plugin except WooCommerce and Facebook for WooCommerce and using a default theme. You’ll find full details here:?https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/#section-4.

And do you have any form of firewall on your site that could be blocking the images from Facebook, as suggested in their documentation? I’m trying to find previous errors on our plugin with this message: “URL signature expired,” as you see on the image link from Facebook that you shared, but I’m not finding anything yet. Maybe it’s a new bug, or maybe it’s something third-party interfering, and more testing is required to determine this, such as the conflict test suggested above!

Kindly let us know how it goes!

    Hello,
I have just done the process taking into account the following situation:
In a development environment, where the product information is contained in relation to the production environment:

    1. Deactivated all plugins except for Facebook For Woocommerce and Woocommerce.
    2. Enabled logging of plugin events for debugging.
    3. There is no firewall on the site.

Even a folder modification has been done at 777 level and users needed to allow facebook to get the images.

So, I don’t know what to do.

I give you technical information of my site:
Facebook for WooCommerce – Version 3.2.7
    WooCommerce – Version 9.1.4
    WordPress – Version 6.6.1

    Hello cmorales001,

    Thank you for your reply.

Could you please clarify the relationship between your production and development environments?
Are these two different sites, or are you working within the same site with different settings?
If these are two different sites, which environment is currently connected to Facebook?

1- Deactivated all plugins except for Facebook For Woocommerce and Woocommerce.
2- Enabled logging of plugin events for debugging.
3- There is no firewall on the site.

On which site did you perform these actions?
Once I have this information, I can better assist you in troubleshooting the issue. ??

    Best regards.

    Good morning.
The relationship between the production environment (https://interllantas.com/) and development (https://desarrollo.interllantas.com/) consists of an exact copy of the sites, making unique adjustments to code issues outside of plugins.

We have made a Facebook integration for both sites, this in order to test product catalogs from different sources. Currently, we have the production one, but previously we had the two connected. Neither of them brought the images.

The actions were performed in the development environment.

    Hi @cmorales001,

Thank you for the additional details. As I understand, you tried this in your staging site with a default theme and disabled every other plugin except WooCommerce and Facebook, and it still didn’t work, correct?

Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:

    • System Status Report?which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support. (Please do this on your staging site while using a default theme, and only WooCommerce and Facebook for WooCommerce active).
    • Fatal error logs?(if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via?https://gist.github.com/?and send the link here.

I saw?another report about a similar issue?from @michaeldbr, so I’m curious to learn if this is a new bug. I want to?report this to our developers, and one of the prerequisites for reporting a bug is testing as described.

    Thanks!

I have just uploaded the log detail through the following link: https://github.com/woocommerce/facebook-for-woocommerce/issues/2791

    Hi @cmorales001,

Thank you so much for opening a bug report directly in GitHub on your own. We appreciate your efforts and collaboration.

Reviewing the attached log in the GitHub report I spotted a few errors:

And a few others with the same error codes.

From their documentation, the error code 100 and 100 with suberror 33 is this:

This points to permissions. To be sure, can you try refreshing your WooCommerce connection with Facebook? Please follow this guide to learn how to: https://woocommerce.com/document/facebook-for-woocommerce-how-to-re-connect/.

    Hi @cmorales001

We had an update a couple of days ago that touches upon the access token retrieval procedure; this would be interesting to try. Have you had a chance to update yet and see if the issue persists?

    Please keep us posted.

    Thanks!
