• I am using the “Faith” theme. When I view the standard …/sermons/ page that is built by the Sermon Manager plug-in, my sidebar (which is supposed to be on the left side) gets pushed down and starts just below the last sermon on the page. It is overlayed partially by the footer and the rest of the sidebar extends below the footer. The filter boxes also get aligned on the left side of the page while the sermons appear to be centered on the page. Can you provide a compatibility fix for the “Faith” theme or provide CSS overrides that would correct this issue?

  • Did you try enabling ‘Theme Compatibility’ (Sermons > Settings > Advanced)?

Yes, I should have mentioned that in my original post. I have re-enabled that setting so you can go to the link above now and see what it looks like. It does get the sidebar back to where it belongs, but it messes up the format of the Sermons display. It adds text of ‘Archive: Sermons’ at the top of the listing, scrunches the date and description together, and cuts off the Series, Date, Speaker, etc. if there is a description. As I mentioned before, you can look at the link again now to see for yourself. As a workaround, I created a page with these 2 shortcodes: [sermon_sort_fields] and [sermons per_page=”20″]. This formats properly, but for some reason the Service Type filtering does not work on that page. It does work on the …/sermons/ page when the Theme compatibility box is unchecked. It obviously does not work with it checked, because none of the filtering boxes are displayed.

    Thanks for looking into this.

I see. Looks like you have a few options. Maybe the developers will see this post and add support for that theme. If they don’t you can create a custom archive-wpfc_sermon.php, but you’ll need a bit of HTML/PHP knowledge. You can also hide that sidebar using CSS.
