• Hello,

I discovered this plugin last night and would really like to migrate from WPML (thousands of problems) to Falang.

    I installed:
Falang multilanguage for WordPress 1.3.28 and
    Falang for Elementor Lite 1.5

I am testing these plugins, and I am facing 2 problems at first:

1)- I have an auction site, with the “Woocommerce Simple Auctions” plugin.

When creating a new product to publish, Falang allows me to translate the fields: “Product Name and Description”.

But it does not allow me to translate the last field “Short description of the product”.

2)- When doing my first test with Falang for Elementor, I find that almost no field of a basic Contact form translates for me.

How can I solve these 2 initial problems?

    Thanks and regards.

    PS: Do you speak Spanish?

    Hi,

    1) You probably have to enabled the description to be available for Translation
Falang > Settings > Translate Options > Clicl on the option after the product elements.

    2) Falang for Elementor Lite can only translate
    Accordion,Button,Heading,Text Editor
but how is build you contact form ?

here is the full list of supported elements for the pro version
    Falang for Elementor Pro description

You have 2 questions one for Falang the Other for Falang for Elementor , it’s proably better to have a thread on each product.
i can understand the spanish (i’m french) but i’m not sure it’s allowed to write in spanish in the forum

    Hi Stepane,

    Thanks for answer so soon!

1)- According to your indications, I have activated all the possible fields. Now it appears in Falang at the end, that Short Description to translate it.
But I still have a problem.

In my product data screen, both description fields have a full edit (html)
In Falang the full editor appears in the first field, but not in the second field.

Is it possible to modify this and have both be html editors?

2)- You are right, I should have opened a thread in the Elementor plugin. The next question about this plugin will be for that forum ??

How do I translate my Woocommerce emails?

I see that there are 2 types of payments with 6 and 12 month support for the Basic and Standard versions. Are they worth it to start?

    Thanks for your answers.

    Greetings.
    Gustavo.

    1)
It’s possible to didplay a screenchot , i don’t know the plugin ” “Woocommerce Simple Auctions”

for woocommerce short descption , they use the Excerpt , it’s enabled by default when you translate a product but in wordpress post Excerpt is a textarea it’s why in Falang a Textarea is displayed too.

But Woocommerce is an imporant plugin perhaps i can look to display a html editor for the wc exerpt

    2) Actually i store the language of the client but there are not yet option to send email to the client language.

i don’t understand your question about “Are they worth it to start ?”, There are not a full of extra feature in the pro version exept the onsite support. most of The falang users buy it to support the dev.

    3) you didn’t answer about the contact form, or you will put it in the Elementor Forum

    Hi,

i don’t have feedback all is working fine ?
don’t hesitate to make a support thread for the Falang WPML Importer or Falang for Elementor.
