Falbum display of photos – big problem

Can anyone help me understand what file is being used to display the gallery/photo/slideshow in falbum?

I am able to get some thumbnails displaying in my pages, no problem… but when I click one, the resulting display has blown my theme layout totally apart.

I followed directions (what few there are) and tried all the permutations I could from the falbum forum… but isn’t falbum-wp.php the file used to display a photo?

Then WHY, when there’s no sidebar.php (which holds my main navigation), are the main nav elements being shown? I don’t get it. I even tried removing sidebar.php from all my files (index, home, page, archive) and still it’s there…

I’d be pulling out my hair, but there’s none left!
