Is there someone to respond to my question?

Falcon cache does not cache static files or set caching headers on the static files — you should see the speed increase for the initial pageload (the HTML) when you are not logged into the site. (If you were recently logged into the site, you would need to exit the browser — this is done to prevent aggressive browser caching from showing pages you saw while you were previously logged in.)

You can set browser caching headers for the other files using the .htaccess file. There are some examples here: https://www.askapache.com/htaccess/speed-up-sites-with-htaccess-caching.html

You may need to adjust the length of time each type of file is cached, for your specific needs.

Personally, I would offer that the sales copy written about Falcon is a bit over the top. In my case, a while back it broke my website and I’ve been afraid to try it ever since. Likewise, the regular WF caching seems to be working for some of my sites but I’ve been afraid to turn on for our main business site as downtime costs us real money.

A better approach might be to just see if your web host offers mod PageSpeed. Mine does, and it did work to a small degree (big gains were not had as my site is already optimized for speed), though I found PageSpeed cluttered up things so much I couldn’t do manual optimization tests so I had the server management turn it off for now.

Am planning on trying the WF basic caching again, but only after I’ve kept my hands of our site for a few days, and have good backups.

In all seriousness, if you keep your average WordPress site optimized and tight, the effort of caching beyond defaults is not worth the hassle. For example, it’ll drive you crazy trying to break your caching as you make modifications.
