Versandkosten. Wir nutzen lediglich DHL als Versand Dienstleister.

    Folgende Einstellungen habe ich:

    Mehrere Sendungen: kosten addieren

Mehrere Regeln: Nur maximale Kosten berechnen

  • Hi @wond3r

Thank you for reaching out — we’re happy to help!

Incorrect shipping costs are (partially) charged.

Could you please provide us with screenshots, so that we can see what you are describing?

If you don’t already have a screenshot service installed, https://snipboard.io is a good option – for uploading it there, and sharing the link here afterward.
There is also a walkthrough guide here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/

Additionally, we would need screenshots of:

    • WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping
    • WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Click on Edit on a Shipping Zone
    • WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Click on Edit on a Shipping Zone > Click on edit on each shipping method so we can check the specific settings
    • The cart/checkout page with the issue

Looking forward to your reply, have a wonderful day!

Hello, thank you. Here are the Screenshots:

    WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping: https://snipboard.io/T7J0vh.jpg

WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Click on Edit on a Shipping Zone: https://snipboard.io/MzhKR7.jpg

WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Click on Edit on a Shipping Zone > Click on edit on each shipping method so we can check the specific settings https://snipboard.io/haibmB.jpg

From the cart i can’t make a screenshot because when i add a product to the cart, the shipping costs will be there. It not happen every time, i can’t reproduce this issue but we get every day some orders without shipping costs on different products. But all products has the same settings.

    Hey, @wond3r!

    Thanks for the screenshots!

Can you please confirm for us which plugin you are using to add the shipping costs? According to this screenshot, it does not seem to be the default WooCommerce interface.

    Looking forward to your reply.

I use the default WooCommerce and Germanized Plugin.

Now i have set it like this: https://i.imgur.com/XFJvpnL.png and give EVERY product the class “Standardversand”. But today i get a order without shipping costs. I don’t get why… When i add the same product to the cart i see the shipping costs. I can’t reproduce this at any tests…

    Hi there

Let’s see if we can replicate it from our side. Please do the following:

    • Send a direct link to the product we should test with
    • Share the exact address we should use during checkout
    • Share screenshots of the product settings as found under Products > All Products > YOUR PRODUCT > Product Data > Shipping

    Thanks!

It can’t be reproducted, i tried a different ways: on different devices, with different products and different payment methods but everytime i can see the shipping costs. But

Here are some screenshots from all configurations: https://imgur.com/a/PLRnvHp

But it is noticeable that in orders where no shipping costs were charged, payment was mostly made with PayPal and no billing address is available. In the email sent to customers, only the first and last name appear under the billing address, and a delivery address is completely missing. However, in WooCommerce, the delivery address is present in the order itself, but not the billing address. I suspect that customers used the ‘Buy Now’ button from PayPal, as the shipping costs are only missing in orders made with PayPal (not all of them!). Hence my suspicion, the error only occurs when PayPal Buy Now is used.

    Hey, @wond3r!

    Thanks for the screenshots.

To confirm: Not all orders from PayPal have this issue, but all the orders that have this issue were paid with PayPal?

Also to confirm, have you tested with the PayPal Pay Now button?

    Thats correct.

Yes, i did but i can’t reproduce. Maybe it’s something with the adresses?
And what’s strange, too that on some orders are 4,19 € instead 4,90 € shipping costs. Total random. I never setup a 4,19 € shipping costs.

    It is so confusing

    Hi @wond3r

    Thanks for sharing further information.

It seems the issue is related to the PayPal express checkout. WooCommerce calculates shipping costs based on the address entered during the checkout process. If customers are using the express checkout, they might bypass the WooCommerce checkout process, and the shipping address might not be properly communicated back to WooCommerce, causing the shipping costs to be calculated incorrectly or not at all.

As for the random 4,19 € shipping costs, it’s possible there’s a tax or fee being applied somewhere in the process. This could be a setting in WooCommerce, Germanized, or PayPal.

Could you help us troubleshoot the issue further by trying to replicate it using PayPal Express Checkout (Buy Now Button)? If the problem persists, please tell us which PayPal plugin you use.

Additionally, check your WooCommerce and Germanized plugin’s settings for any taxes or fees that might be affecting your shipping costs.

I hope this helps! Please let us know how it goes or if you need further assistance.

    Hello @shameemreza

I tried to replicate the problem both as a logged-in customer and as a logged-out user. In both cases, shipping costs were applied and displayed during the PayPal Express purchase. As mentioned before, I have not been able to replicate the problem myself so far, yet we are receiving several such orders.

I have also attached screenshots of my tax settings from Germanized and WooCommerce: https://imgur.com/a/zwmc7ta

For PayPal Express Checkout, I can’t find any settings for shipping costs or taxes.

This is my site: Click here maybe you can check it, too. The last order where no shipping costs was included was just this product: Click here

Okay, now we gat a order with bank transfer and the shipping costs was 4,19 € so i don’t think it’s a paypal issue anymore. Screenshot from the order: https://i.imgur.com/bBO2u5K.png

When i add this product to the cart i see 4,90 € https://i.imgur.com/jpsvJlw.png

how this can be happen? We only allowed shipping to germany and every product has the same settings and i can’t reproduce this… this is so weird

I have now changed the following setting: https://i.imgur.com/DeS8pLb.png to the following: https://i.imgur.com/RKx8vLn.png

I have now changed the following setting:?https://i.imgur.com/DeS8pLb.png?to the following:?https://i.imgur.com/RKx8vLn.png Let’s see how the next orders will be.

I hope this fixes the issue! Please keep us posted ??

But in the meantime, I’ll ask some other questions below in case it happens again and we need to continue troubleshooting it. We are trying to a pattern in the orders with issues to figure out what is causing it.

You mentioned that the orders that had no shipping costs did not show shipping address on the customer’s email, correct?

Did this also happened on the orders that had the shipping cost 4,19?
If so, did this happened in this order?

Regarding the PayPal button, have you had orders paid with PayPal that had both issues or only no shipping costs?

To confirm, you can’t figure out any similarities between the orders, right? No product patterns or maybe similar addresses?

    Have a wonderful day!
