Does it also send email? That might fail if the email address is listed as a spammer.

In the CFDB Options page, there is an option to send error messages to a file or email for you to see.

    I will do that, thanks.

I’ve set the email in Error output file (full path) or email address field but I didn’t received any error log file so far.
There’s some other way I can see whats happening?

    Thanks

Sounds like CFDB is doing what it is supposed to do and not having any errors. Is there some other plugin or code that hooks into CF7 that might be causing the error?

    I think I don’t. There’s any way I can check that?

nunolopes99 — This particular error is the one that indicates that the submission was referred to as spam (see “messages” tab in Contact Form 7). This may indicate that (for whatever arcane reason) the hosting spam blocker (Barracuda, etc.) blocked the email submission.

However, it sounds like CFDB still provided you with a database record — which means that you can always retrieve submission info even when blocked by a spam blocker. True?

Yes, I have all records on DB. The problem is that this false negative message is making the users think that the form wasn’t correctly submitted and they keep making submissions over and over again. It’s a little bit annoying to delete all those duplicated registers.
There’s any way I can turn off this message for this specific error?

    Thanks

Try this: temporarily disable CFDB. Do a form submission. If you still see the error, then it is not a CFDB issue.

nunolopes99 — I use Contact Form 7 without CFDB and get about 1 complaint of this message for every 10 successful submissions. The message is a Contact Form 7 message and may not be due to CFDB at all. The FAQ discussing it is here and may be of some help. There are also multiple posts on this problem in the forum for Contact Form 7.

Yes, the problem isn’t the CFDB at all.
I will follow some of the suggestions of the FAQ.

    Thanks.
