    FYI, I’ve turned the plugin off for now as I seem to be getting a lot of traffic to those old, redirected URLs.

    Hi!

    How to exclude requests from inspection: https://wpcerber.com/wordpress-traffic-inspector-how-to/

    Add this string: .shtml

    I tried and that didn’t work. I also made sure to flush the cache for the site and even flushed the cache on the whole hosting account. Nope.

    I’m sorry, but I still don’t have a workable solution for this.

    Right now I’m using the plugin without the traffic inspector. Is there a way that you can turn off the warning message about the traffic inspector being off? I’d love to turn it on, but until this issue is resolved I can’t.

    I’m sorry, I misinformed you. Since the version 6.7 to exclude any request with .shtml extension from inspection, you need to add the following string to the “Request whitelist” setting field:

    {.+\.shtml$}

    I can confirm that this is working. Thanks so much!!!
