    hi,

I am having issues with the new WP site health checker site-health.php reporting:

Your website appears to be unavailable when using an HTTPS connection.

I am using cloudflare, everything enabled for HTTPS (HSTS, HTTP3), just replaced a bunch of posts that were http in database still and all redirects work fine.

This started to appear in latest 5.7 WP version.

also, what are the optimal “page rules” settings in cloudflare? another user reported having fixed that by checking page rules and he had some http ones. These are the ones i have now, note that cloudflare help section doesn’t suggest adding “https” for these:

    mydomain.tld/wp-admin*
    Cache Level – Bypass

    mydomain.tld/”preview=true”
    Cache Level – Bypass

    mydomain.tld/*
    Cache Level – Cache Everything

    thanks,
    Gabrio

  • Not enough information to provide any help. If you are having HTTPS issues then it might be best to contact your Hoster for help. They know more about what software your site has than anyone else.

mhmhm well and for me not enough details to provide any further checks on my end, since that plugin does not list where the issues are.

as far as i can tell all HTTPS redirects and checks on HSTS run fine, everything checks off so it’s a false positive to me.

    Hi, @gab81

There is this ticket addressing a false positive issue with HTTPS

    https://core.trac.www.ads-software.com/ticket/52783

I can’t tell if this is your case, but there are cases when Health Check fails to correctly check the https. The issue is being taken care of and hopefully will be fixed in 5.7.1

If you see everything is working fine, I guess you can ignore that warning for now.

Thank you for addressing this and if you want you can comment on the ticket with your input.

    Kind regards!
