False reports of broken links

    If fix a link in the broken links report by editing the url and then click recheck. It shows a 200 status ok. But if i then view the broken links report again it shows the link as broken again. If i view the actual page where the broken link is, it is correct there.

    I have tried changing the database engine to myiasm as per the thread – https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/not-working-2508/ but it still shows the links as broken even though they are not.

    Any ideas?

  • We had that sort of problem – something to do with file permissions that I do not understand. We are self-hosted and another person fixed it.
