Fancybox image title not displaying

Hello @mujuw,

That title setting refers to the image caption you can add for each image.
To add captions please go to your page/post > click on an image > and add the caption there.

Once you add it there, it will show on your image.

That is not completely True, I have set a caption for the top image in the site https://www.aijc.org, but it is not shown over the image, but below!

The display of the html “title” attribute on the tag used to show in the bottom border of the picture (v3.0.14 & earlier). Now, it appears greyed out just below the border. View this page: https://www.azaleas.org/view-azalea/?id=406#gallery-1. The caption ‘Allison Ann’, Photo (c) Carolyn Beck, used to appear on the white border at the bottom of the picture (expanded to contain the title), in black text. Now is appears mostly below the border in greyed out text.

I will also add your link there so our developers can see that example as well.

Dear @erikvdhorst, could you please send me a screenshot to see how you added that caption and what title settings do you have when going to Settings > FancyBox > Title?

I have found a reasonable work-around, at least until the problem is fixed. Change the settings to display the title “Outside”. It then appears in a separate white box below the picture and this is quite satisfactory.

I have updated to the latest version (3.1.9) but still experiencing the same problem as mujuw. Any idea what it could be?
