Fantastic, easy, reliable

Incredibly useful for anyone making incremental changes to their site. Whether it’s posts, pages, or updating some of the more sophisticated plugins that update your database, this is fantastic. It’s easy to set up, and you can backup to any one of a number of cloud sites. It’s very reliable. I use it to back up 5 different sites, each with its unique schedule (eg one site is once a day, another site is once a month).

I have previously lost entire websites because I’m an idiot sometimes. I was able to manually restoring the website with an outdated backup I made myself; more than a year of posts were lost because I didn’t update my backup (because, idiot).

Too late to save that website, I installed and set up UpdraftPlus. Then because idiots don’t learn their lessons, I destroyed another website by accident. This time, ta-da! Restored to its former glory in no time.
