Fantastic — even for a non-coder!

    I also would like to congratulate you on being named as the lead developer for the next major WordPress edition. I would love to see this one ignore all things shiny for once, and instead focus on improving security and on code optimization.

    It would be great if, on installing the next major update, users initially think nothing has changed — only to find their sites zipping along at warp speed!

    I know you can’t quite achieve that in a couple of months, but I do believe you are the right man for the job. Good luck!
