Fantastic plugin

  • I have read out of interests the 1 star reviews. I really feel with the developer, he creates a great plugin, it is free, simple and does a great job of compressing and converting images and some people dont get their head around to set things up on the server level (security permission) or they dont get their head around.

    I am looking forward to avif when it is available – most browsers dont support it anyway at the moment – but would be fantastic to have.

    Thanks for the great and easy plugin.

  • @oliver1444 – The idea of FOSS is that the community will contribute.

    Some will contribute with code; others with testing; others with translations and others with documentation etc.

    Usually finding and documenting things is well received.

    I found trying to get this plugin going an exercise in extreme frustration and in 10 years of wordpress, 40 years of operating system configs… for the first time I simply gave up due to the lack of co-operation of the developer.

    …I decided to leave no review because we should be reviewing the software not the developer, but I sympathize with everyone who was unable to get it working.
