Fantastic tool for finding posts by category

I have hundreds of posts categorized many ways. This tool is great for allowing users to find the posts of the most interest to them.

Downgrading to 4 stars due to lack of support.

With one of the recent updates the plugin has stopped behaving correctly. One of several fields is a non-selectable static list instead of a dropdown. Fortunately I discovered I can work around the problem by changing the order in which the fields are displayed.

I filed a ticket and have not received a reply after 2 weeks. That’s not too bad for a free plugin, but I searched the other tickets and saw that the most recent reply from the author was more than 4 months ago. That’s not good at all, even for a free plugin. I’d downgrade it more, but it is still a very useful plugin and I’ve not found anything with which I could replace it. Also, I see that it is actively maintained – the last update is only three weeks ago. If they are not responding to tickets, at least they are keeping it updated.
