Hello and thank you for your great efforts with this plugin! I believe your FAQ is outdated, specifically with respect to the entry for “Why doesn’t sorting by availability work?” The path to the setting is WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory. I also don’t understand what is meant by, “Set the available stock for?all?variations”.

Anyway, I’m trying to sort by Available Stock and it’s not working.

    Hey there,

Amber here, thanks for contacting SkyVerge about our Extra Product Sorting Optoins for WooCommerce plugin! I’m sorry for the delay in responding to you. We’re currently experiencing a very high volume of support requests and are working hard to help as quickly as possible.
I’m happy to help out. ??

I understand that you are having issues getting your website to sort by Available Stock, and that you would like more details as to what our Frequently Asked Questions is pertaining to in regards to “Set the available stock for all variations”.

You can sort by Available Stock on your website, and we can definitely assist you in getting that working. For ‘Sort by Available Stock’ to work, you would need to make sure that ‘stock’ is enabled for your products. What we mean by “Set the available stock for all variations.”, is that when you have a product like a T-Shirt for example that may have different variations from size to color, you would need to edit those variations to enter in the stock you have for them. If a product is missed and stock is not inputted, then the ‘Sort by Available Stock’ won’t work correctly. If you have a product that does not have variations, then you would want to update the stock under the ‘Inventory’ tab when you edit the product.

Could you let me know if this helps answer your questions?

    All the best,

    Amber
