I am using Rankmath TOC and Rankamth FAQs.

All my # named anchor links look fine, except FAQ links.

The FAQ links are shown as

    https://domain .com/article-url/#faq-question-1704909476780″

I want to make my FAQ URLs look like

    https://domain .com/article-url/#question

How do I do that or what am I missing?

    Hello @samwp1,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support.

The IDs are assigned automatically to the FAQ headings, and there is no way to change them. Also, you can’t use the same ID for each FAQ heading, as ID is a unique CSS selector, and if you force the same ID on multiple headings, the anchor links will not work.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Hi @rankmathsupport

I have another site, and it has the same setup (Rankmath TOC and Rankmath FAQ)
When I click the TOC link of a FAQ, it shows the correct FAQ questions after the #
    Ex (https://domain .com/article-url/#faq-question)

Here is the problematic site address bar screenshot

Here is the correctly shown site address bar screenshot

Can you please explain why one site shows it correctly, and another site shows it as a number?

    Hello @samwp1,

Our plugin always adds the ID in the faq-question-{no} format. We can’t access the site where it is adding the question as the ID. Please share the correct URL of the page so we can check and assist you further.

    Looking forward to helping you.
