    Hello roxchou,

Yes it is seo compatible, but you will need to check that you will using unique content in faq not copied.

And also add your faq keywords on that page keyword.

Try this seo plugin – https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wordpress-seo/ . It will be help you to increase your page search ranking on search engine.

    Thanks

    Hi wpshopmart,

I’m already using keywords and a SEO plugin. That was not what I meant. I’m sorry if I wasn’t clear.

What I meant is when a visitor comes to the website and searches for a word that has been used in the Q&A, it comes up empty. For example on the FAQs I setup of has 29 questions and answers. None of the text in the questions or the answers are searchable within the website.

So for example, if one of the questions is “What is unacceptable assignment condition?” and the answer is “Unacceptable assignment conditions are….”, when someone searches for one of the following words, ASSIGNMENT, UNACCEPTABLE or CONDITION, the search doesn’t find anything in the website.

Which leads me to believe that your FAQ is NOT searchable.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Just wondering if you ever figured out a way to resolve this?

I’m having the same problem – great FAQs full of keywords, but not being returned in the site’s search results.

    Thanks!

    Hi WhitePhantom,

I created a post for every FAQ and only included an excerpt of the post in the Add FAQ section of the plugin with a link to the post. So I really used this FAQ plugin for its formatting and nothing else (icons, accordion feature, colors, etc.)

Thanks Roxchou, that’s one way around it alright.

I don’t want to create posts or pages for each of my FAQs though, so I guess I’ll just have to accept that the FAQs won’t appear in the search results. Pity, because apart from that it’s a great plugin – very easy, and great options for layout, formatting, etc.
