Far Better than the ‘new improved’ edition

I’m using WP FOMO on a couple of websites now, and I really cannot see how they insist that Notification X is a better plugin.
On WP FOMO you just input your field items, publish, and away it goes!
On Notification X you need to jump through a few hoops, there are no options to add your own field items, and on publishing – it MIGHT show your item, but it probably won’t.
If someone could explain why Notification X is better, please send a postcard.
