• Excellent minimalistic plugin. I found it after trying Slimstat, which slowed down loading the admin dashboard of my website quite a bit.

Statify works well with WP-Rocket caching plugin on Nginx. Next I’ll try with Total Cache on Apache. Well done!

  • Please keep in mind that Statify also collects one tenth of the data available in Slimstat, and it offers one tenth of the functionality (drill-down filters, emails, blacklists, etc). Also, setting Slimstat in “Client Mode” usually is a workaround to obviate any performance issues.

    Hi Jason,
thank you for your answer. It’s true that Statify and Slimstat can’t be compared in terms of functionality. I’m happy that Slimstat exists. For my basic needs, Statify is perfect.
What made me uninstall Slimstat is that it took ages to load the Admin dashboard. Maybe too much data collected? DB was about 150 MB, beefy server serving up to 50.000 pages a day, with Nginx and WP-rocket (cpu load under 5 percent, plenty of free RAM). Probably quite unusual problem. I should have digged the problem a little bit, but I have almost no free time right now, and Statify fits my needs. I’ll explore Slimstat when I have more time and when I’m ready to quit Google Analytics ??
    Cheers
    Johannes

Makes sense. Thank you for clarifying.

    Best,
    Jason
