Fast, modern online store theme

I really like the plugin. I was using the Kloé theme with wooCommerce before so that was my baseline for comparison. The reason for the switch was mainly the long load time and the dated shopping experience of Kloé. As I was looking at other Kloé based sites I saw that those had similar long load times. My pagespeed score with Kloé on mobile was hovering around 15/100 with 4-5 free plugins already running for performance optimization.
A couple of observations about Botiga:
1.You will be using the original wp block editor to customize your site which made things slightly harder compared to WPbakery.
2.With WP Rocket my mobile pagespeed score is now 97/100 with no additional plugins running for optimization
3.The floating mini cart is a nice touch plus the checkout layout options are a lot better on mobile – it really is a mobile first theme
4.There’s the option to add videos along with product images which is amazing, sadly as I could tell this has to be done manually in the admin panel and cannot be done as part of a bulk csv upload
5.Support is very responsive
6.The theme/plugin introduced a couple of strings like ‘Shipping & Billing’ that were not translated into Hungarian at the time of writing. I wish the plugin relied on existing wooCommerce strings in these cases instead of adding the same string twice. Maybe this wasn’t technically feasible
