Today I updated to WP 6.6.1 and after some time I got the white screen of death. I looked at debug.log in wp-content and it said there is a fatal PHP error with the Strong Testimonials plugin. I renamed your folder and my WP site came back. I have managed to restore my website but every time I try to activate the Strong Testimonials plugin I receive the error “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a?fatal error.” ?

Update: Have rolled back the plugin from v3.1.14 to v3.1.13 and the bug disappears.

    Hello @bondimedical3,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Can you please let us know which theme you use? Also, can you please reach out to your hosting company and ask them for the?PHP error log? Once they give you the file, please send it over.? It would really help us investigate this further and see if there are any errors.

    Warmly,

    Beatrice.

This issue is not resolved. The onus is on the developers to fix bugs. Its not standard practice to give PHP log files from our servers to people I don’t know.

Are you able to reproduce the bug at your end?

    Hi @bondimedical3 ,

We are not able to replicate this behavior on our end.

Can you please let me know which PHP version you use?

    Thank you,

    Beatrice.

    Hi @bondimedical3,

We tested this on our end and everything works properly.

Please add the following to your wp-config. php file: define( 'WP_DEBUG', true ); define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false ); define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true ); and send us the log afterward by reaching out via our contact form here so we can take a look.

We are looking forward to your email!

    Warm regards,

    Beatrice.
