Fatal Error

  • I keep getting this error
    Fatal error: Failed opening required ‘/usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/larrikin.outphase.com/httpdocs/wp-includes/wp-db.php’ (include_path=’.:’) in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/larrikin.outphase.com/httpdocs/wp-settings.php on line 24
    What does it mean?

  • I’m no expert but it looks as if your host misconfigured php.
    The error means (afaik) that php is unable to include the wp database file into the settings file (because the phpinclude path (=paths on the server from where php can include pages) is not set correctly/not at all).
    Did you edit any of those wp files?

    I fixed it by overwriting all the files again. I messed up the chmods.
