you may have too many things in your menu… can you link to your site?

    Sure! Here you go!

the only thing that is odd is that there is a new SEO tab on my backend sidebar (far left menu bar) that is full of different options etc. It may be using up a ton of space… I just don’t know how it got there and I can no longer turn it off…

what SEO plugin are you using?

the error is telling you that you have run out of memory. This could be due to the number of plugins you are using or the size of the theme.

You basically have a couple choices
    1) ask you host to allow you to use more memory
    2) reduce the number of plugins you are using.
    3) use a theme that has a smaller footprint.
    4) buy a larger hosting package from your host
    5) switch hosts to one that allows more memory.

I can’t tell :-/ and now I can not access the name as I am locked out… It has a little icon of what looks like a speech cloud with a cat/batman shadow in it? and SEO all in caps. I don’t recognize it tho which is odd… and it had new alerts displayed which is making me think it is new? I installed Yoast a couple weeks ago but I put it on other sites and this icon did not show up on any of the others.

Thank you juggledad! That is what I was afraid of… I am locked out of all editing capabilities so I can’t delete plugins… what should I do if I am locked out? Is there a way I can delete plugins from the backend outside of wordpress??

i think that yoast is the little batman logo.

if you have access to the server cpanel where your site is hosted then you can access the folders and files of wordpress. make your way to wp-content -> plugins and rename plugins folder to something else.

go back to your site and see if you can access it again….

if that doesn’t work, report back. ??
