Fatal Error

    I tried to install the free version of your table rate shipping plugin, but when I tried to activate the plugin I received the following error message.

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/www/mattholderfund.com/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-easy-table-rate-shipping/woocommerce-table-rate-plugin.php on line 43

    Using
    Genesis Framewok, with a child theme.
    WooCommerce Version 2.4.5
    Woocommerce Table Rate Shipping Version 1.1.0

    Thanks – this is normally linked to using an older unsupported version of php on the site.

    To check if this is the case, in WordPress please goto WooCommerce -> System Status, then in the second section titled “Server Environment” you will see PHP Version. Please let me know what that says…

    The setting said: PHP Version: 5.2.17 – We recommend a minimum PHP version of 5.4.

    I updated to 5.5 and all is well. Thank you for the help.
