Just had the same happen to my site, it’s been fine for months. I don’t know if installing a new plugin tripped something but I had some very strange issues. Anyway to fix it I renamed the W3-total-cache folder within Plugins directory via FTP. Once this was done I could get back into the admin dashboard. Then I installed the W3 Cache plug in again, it will pick up all the settings from the database so no need to reconfigure anything. Then just delete the old installation of the plug form the “Installed plugins” page on the dashboard.
