Can you please what was the fatal error ?
what version of php and wordpress and wp hide post you are using

I had gotten a similar error myself. So I deleted the plugin and then the error went away. But then I re-installed the plugin, but now, I can’t activate the plugin. It tries to activate, but it doesn’t. Something must have happened when I had the initial problem (where my entire site actually went down – until I deleted the plugin) and now I can’t activate WP Hide Post. It keeps sending me back out to the front end of my website.

I’m using WP 4.8, PHP version is 5.6.31

    Any ideas?

I am using the plugin for many months and work ok. Today has been updated, and all WordPress has started to fail (the editor fails, many things do not work). I tried to reinstall it and it indicates FATAL ERROR. I use WordPress 4.8 and Hide Post latest version (today). I have uninstalled the plugin and everything works correctly.

    Miguel,
This is Gary Gordon. Now that you uninstalled the plugin, have you tried to reinstall it and reactivate it? I’m having a problem re-activating the plugin. Now activating for me. I’m curious if our situations are similar. Let me know.

Hoping for a resolve on this as well. Same issue. Deleted after server errors and tried to reinstall but won’t activate. Latest version of wordpress and plugin.

When I uninstall it, I can no longer install it, as a fatal error occurs.

Plugin is broken and takes my site down completely. I was forced to delete it.

Hello, I always update plugins one by one so I know that this plugin caused Error 503 –
Service temporarily unavailable on my site
    .
I Log in via FTP and temporary deactivated plugin via renaming it (adding dot before name)
    .wp-hide-post
and tried reload page and now no problem.
