    Hi there!
Jetpack disappeared from my site yesterday. When I tried to activate it I got this error message…
    Fatal Error
Warning: require_once(/var/www/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/_inc/lib/class.media.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/class.jetpack.php on line 42
    Wondering if anyone can help?!
    Thanks!

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

It seems that your installation of Jetpack is incomplete.

Could you try to delete the plugin and reinstall it from scratch?

If you do not have access to the Plugins menu in your dashboard, could you try to log in to your site via FTP or CPanel, delete the existing Jetpack plugin folder, before to reinstall the plugin from your dashboard?

You’ll find the Jetpack plugin folder here:

    wp-content
       plugins
         jetpack - DELETE THIS FOLDER

If you’re not sure how to do this, you can ask your hosting company for help. They should also have documentation explaining how to edit or remove files from your site using FTP or a File Manager in your admin panel.

Let us know how it goes.

    Hi Jeremy!
Thanks for your suggestion!! I went ahead and deleted Jet Pack in the Plug-in editor. Then I searched for it and re-installed it. Easy fix! I’m grateful for your response!
    Thanks so much,
    Jill
