    Hi,
Please help. This is for a client’s website. I have had to disable the plugin, as I was unable to access my dashboard normally. I had to go into recovery mode to get in. It said it is since the latest WordPress update. This plugin failed to load properly and is paused during recovery mode.

The website loaded fine, but couldn’t log-in to my admin.

An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 33 of the file /home/chesi278/public_html/wp-content/plugins/yet-another-stars-rating/admin/settings/classes/YasrSettings.php. Error message: Cannot declare class YasrSettings, because the name is already in use

    Thank you,

    Deborah

I should have added this: WordPress version 5.5.1
Current theme: Theta Child (version 1.0.0)
Current plugin: Yet Another Stars Rating (version 2.5.1)
    PHP version 7.4.11

I noticed the plugin was updated 4 days ago. This is when things went wrong for me, and this is what I get when I try to activate.

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Fatal error: Cannot declare class YasrSettings, because the name is already in use in /home/chesi278/public_html/wp-content/plugins/yet-another-stars-rating/admin/settings/classes/YasrSettings.php on line 33

    Hi!

Are you using the last version? This error was fixed with version 2.4.8.

You can also do this: deactivate and install again YASR (be sure that is the last version) and activate it again.

Don’t worry, rating and settings wan’t be lost

    Let me know!

OK, thank you. I have reinstalled it, and it appears to be working for now. These latest WordPress updates have caused a few issues on some sites I administer.
