Still no luck ??

As soon as I activate the updated All in One SEO (version 4.0.9) it comes the error:

No, I don’t know WooCommerce and never installed it.

Remember that I already deactivated ALL other plugins (24) and activate only AIOSEO but it blocks the site!

Is there any chance to see the whole crash report log?

Where could I find it?

the only thing I can think of left is that our plugin is not able to create the tables it needs to.

Can you check with your hosting provider to see if there are restrictions on the database that might cause this to happen?

Also, every log file is in a different location so it would be best to ask your hosting provider as well to see where you can find the error log.

Let us know what they say and we can go from there.

I’ll do it, mean while please tell me why the previous AIOSEO versions were working fine?

The action scheduler tables that are not being created are new to version 4.0. We use it to manage all of our tasks that happen behind the scenes (like generating sitemaps etc.)

They are required as well as some other custom tables we use to index the SEO data. I’m assuming those are not being created either.

I’ll pass this info to my hosting provider.

Thanks for your patience as we have continued to look into this. We have some steps that may resolve this issue for you. Can you try the following?

1. Download and install this plugin on your site: https://github.com/woocommerce/action-scheduler/archive/3.1.4.zip
2. Activate the plugin, but don’t update it.
3. Try activating AIOSEO again.
4. Deactivate and remove the Action Scheduler plugin.

Let us know if that helps to fix the issue!

Thanks for trying that. I am really sorry this is happening for you and I would love to make sure that we can fix it.

I have a more advanced option to try and see if we can fix this. Follow these steps carefully:

1. Install this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/code-snippets/
2. Head over to the Snippets menu in the left sidebar and click Add New
3. Give that post any name and copy the below code in the Code field

add_action( 'init', function() {
	delete_option( 'schema-ActionScheduler_StoreSchema' );
} );

4. Select the Only run in administration area option and click the Save and Activate button
5. Try activating AIOSEO again.
6. You can then disable the Code Snippets plugin again.

Let me know if that works for you.
