My website keeps crashing and it’s very slow. This is the error message I get:

Thanks for reaching out. We’re aware of this issue which impacted some users, with more information on the post below:
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/critical-error-issue-update-to-v1-38-1/

With that can you update to the latest version of Site Kit and share whether the issue persists? If you’re having trouble updating the plugin let me know and I’d be happy to provide further instructions.

No problem at all, happy to help. Firstly is there an option to update from within your WordPress control panel (Dashboard > Updates), or when visiting your plugins page (Plugins > Installed Plugins > Site Kit by Google > Update)?

If you’re unable to update from within your administrator dashboard with the above steps do you have access to your site via FTP or your hosting control panel?

I don’t see an update available in the Dashboard Updates or the Installed Plugins.
But I do have access to my hosting control panel through GoDaddy.
I don’t have any experience doing this so I’m lost :S

In that case if you’d like to share your Site Health information via this form I’d be happy to take a look at your setup.

I also notice now that you’re using the latest version of Site Kit. Do you have automatic plugin updates enabled, and does the issue remain when trying to access your site?

@tompika100 Sorry to hear you’re encountering the same issue. If you’d like to open a new support topic we can investigate your case individually.

While we have more details of this issue contained within a notification post if you’re unable to update to the latest Site Kit version you can remove or rename the Site Kit folder from your plugins directory (wp-content/plugins/google-site-kit) using FTP or your website control panels file manager. After doing so you can once install the latest version of the plugin.

@cursosdeinglesats Have you been able to update to the latest version of the plugin?

As we didn’t receive a response I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist.
