Hi, we received a fatal error on our website and it was resolved when Yith Woocommerce Gift Cards plugin was deactivated.

Would love help to resolve so that we can get gift cards working again ??

We did update the Woocommerce plugin last night so wondering if perhaps that has something to do with it?

Error was as follows: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 805306368 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1052672 bytes) in /home/customer/www/(domain name)/public_html/wp-includes/meta.php on line 1085 There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

    Hi there,
    Hope you are well!

Our latest version works fine with the latest version of WooCommerce. Could you tell me if you have the latest version of our plugin? If not, could you update it and check if the error still occurs?

If it continues to happen, I recommend that you contact your hosting support.

Let us know any news, please.

    Have a nice day!

I got a fatal error as well. I use Cartflows as well as WooCommerce. YITH giftcards causes a fatal error and now I am without a gift card option. Will you fix this or should I find another solution? DontWaitMovie.com

    Same here, started yesterday,
“There has been a Critical Error on your website”
Deactivating Yith Gift Cards resolves issue.

I was able to back down to the previous version but it was making our site cripplingly slow.

Same here. Have contacted hosting support – but they can only suggest deactivating plugin.

    Same problem….. 3 days of crazy time…..
    Changed 2 servers, upgrade memory….
Now disabled this crap…. Searching for something else.

    Hello there,
Hope you all are doing well! ??

We have released a new plugin version which fixes this problem with the database entries, so please, update to the latest version (2.2.1) and check if the problem is solved in your sites.

We are sorry for the problems caused.

Let us know any news, please.

PS: If you want, you can remove all the entries with the key “_ywgc_customer_user” in the “wp_postmeta” table, to avoid any overload in your DB

    Have a nice day!
